svar: Diagonally it measures approx 28cm, it fits in my microwave and rotates perfectly, I put it on for 1 minute (750 watt microwave) then turn it over for another 1 minute, once safely in the cover you can mould it for a knee, shoulder, back, etc. I can honestly say it's a fantastic buy, I couldn't be without mine, it's really good for deep pain as well.
