Which wire is the live wire? There is no colour coding
svar: It doesn't matter which way round it's wired. One thing to note is that the spring terminal in the holder is quite loose. I screwed a bulb into it and the terminal moved and contacted the side wall causing a short circuit. The solution was to bend the terminal down slightly to take away some of the play. -
