Help-After plugging the torch to charge the light is stuck permanently on; I tried to turn it off with the button: but the button has stopped working
svar: Very unfortunate but if you have as much luck with the supplier as we have then I suggest you contact your credit card company as obviously the item is not of manufacturing quality. To date, our complaint has been ignored. -

svar: There is no indication that it is fully charged, after 8 hours I conclude it is full or fully charged, as indicated by an increase in brightness, hope this helps. -

Where do I put the batteries?
svar: There are 4 little plastic grommets in the back end. Remove them and you will find 4 very small crosspoint screwheads. Undo those and the batteries are in that compartment. Do not allow the front glass and reflector to rotate as the reflector removes the wiring from the bulb if it moves. Best of luck if you need warranty the company ignores you. -

How long do the batteries take to charge from flat to full?
svar: I've not taken it from full power to flat but it's got a long life around 8 hours if used on main beam full power probably half that. -

How do you charge it up?
svar: There is an orange flap on the back. Lift this up and you will find a socket for a battery charger and a USB-OUT socket you can use to charge a smart phone. It comes with an unusual USB cable which can be plugged into the charge input socket at one end and the USB plug into a PC or other USB charger outlet. This is a brilliant piece of kit. I've bought two. -

svar: Unless the seller can help you out, you could try a multi charger, it has multiple different male ends which fit a universal cable, and can be used on various devices, just ensure it's providing the correct power to charge torch which I think was 5 watt. I've only had mine a week, so thanks for update cable may be fragile. -

svar: Yes it can, the side light is used for a lantern. The light has 2 switches to change settings.
