Above the bed is a silk cover with a flower motif, taken from a young girl's dowry chest. When Mustafa Kemal reads two lines embroidered on pillows, he calls Mazhar Müfit Bey to him. While Mazhar Müfit Bey is worried and a little embarrassed and tries to explain that the couplets on the pillows were not written for him and that they never had such an intention, Mustafa Kemal says that the explanation is unnecessary and that the warning in the poem is true for everyone. The first line of the poem written on the pillowcases where Mustafa Kemal placed his head during the Sivas Congress days is as follows: Do not be proud of the position of the world and hurt people....Sunay Akın embroiders each motif on the Poetic Pillow with care, love, and unabated curiosity and enthusiasm for research. The places of Anatolia in the struggle for liberation convey our unique medical flowers, Nazım, Orhan Veli, Deniz, Halet Çambel, and many other lives dedicated to humanity with their courage and resilience.
