It is compatible with most RO and RO/DI units, including the Liquagen 5-Stage unit that uses ¼” tubing, and can push water from a bucket through an RO machine at 40psi. The kit includes an Auto Shutoff Solenoid (ASO) that shuts off the incoming water supply when used in conjunction with the float, preventing RO waste water from continuing to run. However, if you're using only the float to fill a container and there is no waste water, the ASO is not needed. You can splice the incoming line to multiple lines without any issue. The valve kit will only work mounted on a vertical surface and attaches to the aquarium by connecting it in line with the supplied tubing to your RO/DI storage tank tubing. Several customers have reported it to be a well-built and quality product that functions as it's supposed to.
