If there is no amperage flow, a solid beep noise will be heard. If there is an amperage flow, it will beep three times. Then, one should push the fuse button that indicates the type of fuse (mini, standard, maxi) and then push the fuse amperage value button. Lastly, hold down the value button and the milliamp value will read out. The device is not very loud, so the beeper can be modified to increase sound. This tool is unaffected by CARB regulations, making it universal and applicable for automotive fuses used everywhere.
