The fit is perfect and they don't slip or shift around, thanks to the secure four Velcro flaps. The guards also offer ample coverage, extending down to the top of the foot. The armor over the knee and shin is rigid and sturdy, providing excellent protection. The outer material is durable and resistant to snagging. The guards are not overly bulky, allowing for the possibility of wearing them under jeans or pants, although a more relaxed cut is advised. One issue noticed by the reviewer is that the knee armor is heavily pre-bent, which can cause discomfort when standing. The bottom edge of the knee armor digs into the shin, making walking uncomfortable. However, this problem can easily be fixed by removing the armor from the pads, trimming about 1/2" off the curved edge, and reinserting it. This simple modification significantly improved the comfort while standing and walking. Overall, the TSG Knee-Shin Guard Temper A 2.0 is highly recommended.
