svar: 0.10-0.27 refers to the gauge of the strings, high strung tuning is similar to the thinner set of strings on a 12 string guitar. They are small gauge strings and not a conventional set of strings. They leave the guitar sounding more like a mandolin. -

svar: On this set, the G,D,A and E strings are an octave higher, the same as the secondary strings on a 12-string guitar. -
