VC VERTICAL CABLE TV Wall & Ceiling Mounts 047-WSM-1226 Editorial Review
The 12U Open Wall Mount Frame Rack with Hinge is a reliable and sturdy rack that is suitable for residential and commercial use. It comes with a swing-out door feature, making it easy to access the back of the rack. The rack is also adjustable in depth, ranging from 20" to 28", allowing for flexibility in accommodating different equipment sizes. The installation of this rack is straightforward, with clear instructions provided. However, one minor issue encountered during assembly was that the screws for the rear support struts were not clearly labeled. Additionally, the rack comes with square holes that are designed for use with cage nuts, which may vary in size and require careful selection. The reviewer mentioned using this rack for a residential MDF setup, as well as an IDF setup for a highly automated home. The rack performed well in both cases, with all devices functioning as expected. Overall, the 12U Open Wall Mount Frame Rack with Hinge received positive feedback from the reviewer. It met expectations, was well-packaged upon arrival, and provided a reliable and functional solution for organizing and securing network equipment.
