SeaSense Navigation Lights 50023952 Editorial Review
The SeaSense Chrome Stern Light Base has garnered positive feedback from customers, primarily due to its robust quality and effective performance as a replacement for older, corroded light bases. Users have found it to be a solid product that not only aligns well with their existing setups but also offers an aesthetically pleasing chrome finish. The installation process is generally described as straightforward, although some users noted that the design of the rotating cover could complicate the installation of the light pole. One of the highlights of this product is its ability to effectively cover previous mounting holes due to its slightly larger diameter, which has been beneficial for those transitioning from older models. However, it should be noted that the product does not fit all types of hold-down or tightening mechanisms commonly found in older light bases, particularly those from the 80s and 90s. This did not appear to be a major issue for most customers, as they were able to adapt it to their needs. Overall, the SeaSense Chrome Stern Light Base appears to be a reliable and functional replacement part for boat owners seeking a quality solution that enhances the durability and appearance of their lighting setup. **
