The ATOMOS ATOMXMMQR1 Monitor Mount with Quick Release Plate is a durable and reliable mount for the Atomos Ninja V that does not have any play when installed. Although expensive, it is worth the investment compared to less expensive options that may crack. However, the combined weight of the external monitor, cage and battery may be too much for the pivot points to hold the monitor angle. The quality of the material is excellent, but the bottom hot shoe mount may still have some wiggle and play despite being tightened down. Overall, the mount connects solidly and is a better option than the included mount in a package deal from Phoenix Photo.
